Prime Minister, the Most Hon. Portia Simpson Miller (left), and former Prime Minister, the Most Hon. P.J. Patterson (2nd left), unveil the sign bearing the new name of the Kingston to May Pen segment of Highway 2000, during Friday’s (April 17) renaming ceremony, at the corridor’s Old Harbour Interchange in St. Catherine. The roadway has been renamed the P.J. Patterson Highway. Sharing the moment are Opposition Spokesman on Industry, Investment, and Commerce, Karl Samuda (2nd right), who represented Opposition Leader, Andrew Holness; and Managing Director of TransJamaican Highway, which manages the 44-kilometre roadway, Guillaume Allain.
