Ms. Maureen Webber is an Urban and Regional Planner who for the past twenty five years has held progressively senior management positions with public, private, political and international organizations. Her wide-ranging expertise includes strategic planning, finance, organizational development, social research, conflict resolution, grant proposal writing and fund management, and social programme design, implementation and evaluation.
She served as Executive Director of the Policy Review Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister of Jamaica, as well as in the capacity of Planning Officer for the Sites & Services Division of the Ministry of Housing of Jamaica.
Ms. Webber has also served as political consultant to the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party and Progessive Labor Party on projects including voter confirmation processes, maximizing turnout for voter confirmation, training of campaign managers, and development of voter contact systems. She also held a special assignment as Deputy General Secretary with responsibility for Organising & Political Education for Jamaica’s People’s National Party.
